Eyes Opened

My memory's erased
not a trace
of any of my past thoughts.

Maybe now,
I can be
who I wanted to
just you see.

Broken friendships
will be repaired
for the lost
and the scared.

I did not know
who I was
my mind was caught
in a buzz.

Now my eyes
have opened wide
opened up
to see the world outside.

Because who I was
was just a joke
a mindplay
a real hoax.
